How do you describe your Peer Supervision practice?
My supervision practice is grounded in relationship and connection. I approach supervision as a space of safety, support, and deep reflection, where the supervisee feels genuinely held. My style is soft, grounded, compassionate, and trauma-informed, with a strong emphasis on holistic wellbeing. I offer a space that invites curiosity, personal growth, and meaningful self-exploration. Through authentic connection, together we reflect, grow, and step more confidently into our roles and peer relationships.
What information regarding your Peer Work, Lived Experience, and/or areas of interest do you want Peer Workers to know?
My practice is deeply informed by my lived experience - including disordered eating, childhood trauma, and the long journey of reclaiming self-trust and healing through both clinical and holistic pathways. I’ve explored areas such as body image, self-esteem, relationship with food, trauma, and the shift from shame to empowerment. A core belief I hold is that when we’re brave enough to examine ourselves fully, we can begin to rebuild in a way that feels true and self-led. My interests lie in personal development, trauma recovery, empowerment, and helping others move from a space of helplessness into agency and ownership of their life and healing.
What other information is relevant for Peer Workers to know?
I bring diverse experience from both community (NGO) and government sectors, including over three years in an acute inpatient setting in a clinical rural mental health care setting, as well as experience in the child and adolescent mental health community setting, and also as a Lived Experience Coordinator. My background lies in providing deep empathy and connection, and promoting self-agency, self-belief and self-hope within sub-acute and clinical settings. I offer peer supervision via online platforms, such as MS TEAMS, Zoom or by phone. I work intuitively which means I attune closely to what's emerging in the moment rather than following rigid structure. This looks like noticing subtle shifts in energy and asking questions that get to the heart of unspoken challenges, creating space for practice wisdom to unfold naturally. I am strongly justice-oriented, guided by a rights-based approach. Supervision with me is a space for growth, reflection, empowerment, and genuine connection, all grounded in Lived Experience and deep personal work.
