WAPSN Conference Speaker/Workshop EoI’s
This year’s theme for the 2026 WAPSN meeting is Peer Work in Practice.
For EoI’s this year we are looking for workshops and presentations that give attendees practical learnings and skills that they can bring into their own Peer Work practice.
Day 1’s events will be focused on The Grassroots of Peer Work. This day will focus on workshops and presentations that aim to connect peer workers with the sector's grassroots origins whilst helping to provide upskilling and connection opportunities for those working within grassroots spaces.
Day 2 will be focused on The Professionalisation of Peer Work. This day will focus on workshops and presentations that discuss the skills and ideas that areemerging from Peer Work as it becomes a more established part of the support and advocacy space.
For this year's EoI’s, we will be prioritising submissions that can tie into these themes, and those which have a greater capacity for active learning.
All Expressions of Interest are due by the 13th of April.
All applicants will be contacted by the 28th of April regarding the results of their submission
Regional Scholarships
For this years WAPSN conference, hosted at the UWA Club in Crawley, WAPSN are providing a limited number of scholarships for those in regional WA to attend.
This scholarship is available to support individuals engaging in Peer Work living in regional WA attend our annual conference.
To be eligible you must reside outside the Perth metropolitan or Peel regions.
This scholarship will cover some, or all costs to attend (mileage, flights/trains, and accommodation) depending on availability of flights and scheduling. If you have previously received a scholarship you are able to apply however we endeavour to provide opportunities to those unable to attend in previous years.
Expressions of Interest will be due by Monday the 6th of April. Applicants will be notified by the 16th of April.
This event will be held over Monday the 15th of June and Tuesday the 16th of June.
We ask that you only apply if you are able to commit to attending both days.
