National Police Certificates and Recruitment of Peer Workforces
To eliminate discrimination in contracting and recruitment policies for Peer workers, the WA Peer Supporter's Network have created a letter addressed to the Mental Health Commission, WA Health agencies, and Community Service Employers. The letter respectfully requests a review of any contracting and recruitment policies that require a National Police Certificate (NPC) to be obtained prior to the employment of people in Lived Experience (Peer) Workforces roles.
